My name is Phil Rees, 36 years old, couple of daughters and broke

Well my plan is to change that so welcome to the blog of my quest to make money on the internet without spending any money to start up (well I dont have any to spend) and in the process hoping to sort my financial life out and sharing with people the pitfalls and success i find.

Ive decided to share my investigations and what I find out about the what seems like millions of confusing programs, marketing gurus and schemes to make money on the internet.

Why? well why not.

Im like most people today looking to establish a good future for myself and my kids and id like to tell you a few bits and pieces about myself first so you understand that im no marketing genius or internet guru. Just someone who is sick and tired of being broke and having business ideas fail.

Ive worked in direct sales and marketing most of my adult life, was no academic genius but not stupid enough to walk away with no qualifications. First job was working at McDonalds which to be honest today im quite thankful for as it gave me some good understanding of team work and customer service.

Tried the college thing a couple of times but ended up spending most of my time in the student bar or getting hacked off with some college teacher guy standing in front of me telling me things i really didnt want to know (Did i really want to learn poxy french when i was trying to learn how to programme) - well short of it i dropped out after about 6 months both times.

From there ive bounced around from job to job for the last 16 years, never lasting more than a couple of years if i was lucky and with most jobs lasting at most 6 months. As for what type of jobs, well everything from door to door sales, silver service waiting, barman, cleaner, kitchen porter, telesales, visa and passport consultant, customer service assistant, sales manager, mailshot distribution, and various one shot self employed business plans.

OK at times i made good money - sometimes, but most of that was spent in the nightclubs and bars and never on the right things. I drank to much, partied hard, neglected my family and don't even ask me what a pension is and now at 36 i dont have a home, a car, savings, earn about £45 sterling a week if im lucky, and in debt to the tune of about £40,000 pounds (i think could be more could be less).

I stayed in good contact with the mothers of my kids, and didnt totally destroy my reputation, had good family around me to support me and although broke didnt turn out a complete twat

Ive spent hours upon hours of my life playing multiplayer games on the internet which have led to me running an online gaming community called Team Templar so i cant say i have wasted all my time and whilst doing this have run across countless multi level money making schemes which i have always been skeptical of.

So time to change my life and see if there is any truth in the so called internet marketing

THE RULES

1. The only starting capital that can be used is whatever cost it takes to have an internet connection and no personal cash can be used.

2. Future programs can only use cash that has been generated from the internet.

3. If a program doesn't make any cash within say 1 month of signing up, it gets dropped.

4. I have to keep an open mind and be prepared to show a little faith.

5. If a program turns out to be a scam, its reported it to the police.

6. Im sure ill think of others.
